Weight loss Progress shots!

Hello Loves!

I thought I would write up a blog post about my weight loss as I have now lost 9.8kgs :)

I am feeling so great and am looking forward to toning up even more.

My original main goal was to be at my pre pregnancy weight (64.4kgs) and fitting into my size 10 jeans. I have been able to fit into my jeans quite comfortably for a couple of weeks now, in fact it's starting to feel a smidge loose in the thigh area!

Technically I am not at my pre pregnancy weight (yet!) but I do feel that I accomplished my goal. Before I was pregnant I NEVER worked out and was crazy unfit. Now I am so much fitter and work out as often as possible, so I have built up more muscle which is denser than fat. Hence why I feel like I have reached my goal, on the scales technically no but in terms of size and how I feel YES! :)

I am now going to be setting myself a new goal as I like to have something to strive for and I don't feel like I am where I want to be.

Basically my new goal is to tone up my legs! My inner thighs are still a problem area for me (yes they have gotten a lot better, but still need work).

I think that if I keep up with losing the extra fat through my diet and then working out to tone I will get to my goal in the next few months.

My legs have been a problem area since I was 14 so I do feel like it's kind of an impossible task for me as I have been this way for so many years, it's hard to picture having trim toned legs.

But I am going to do my best and work my butt off (literally!) to reach this goal :)

I thought I would include some before/after comparison shots to show what I have achieved :)

The starting photo was taken in May but I didn't actually start dieting and exercising until 22nd July 2012.
I still weighed the same in the before shot.
Honestly I think I was in denial about my weight, then I had a wake up call moment and realised this weight isn't going anywhere and I need to do SOMETHING.

Current weight

Nads Nose wax kit review

Hello Loves!
Today I'm going to be doing a review of the latest offering from Nads.
It is the Nose Wax for Men & Women, also to be used as pore strips!

First Impressions:
I was really impressed with how much you actually get in this kit. It was hard to believe it all fit!
Included in this kit:
6 x Applicators
1 Tub of wax
3 x Moustache Shields
3 x Wooden spatulas
3 x Post wax calming oil wipes
3 x Anti Bacterial Wipes
Instruction Leaflet

I found the instructions so easy to follow and they are very specific on what to do.
To wax inside of nose simply heat the wax and coat the tip of the applicator (They include a diagram to show you how much wax should be on which I found really helpful)
Then put up nose (No other way to say it!) Leave for 90 seconds. I timed this using my phone as they recommend so the wax doesn't go too hard.
I wasn't doing this on myself, my lovely boyfriend went through this as he has more nose hair and I could test out the moustache shields :)
Once the 90 seconds was up he pulled it out quickly!
My boyfriend did tell me he prefers it to plucking, it hurt a lot less (3/10th to be precise haha in his words) compared to plucking the hair out.
The post wax wipes were nice and removed any excess (on the outside of the nose from pore strip)

So overall great success with the inside nose waxing!

Onto using the wax as a pore strip.
Unfortunately we didn't have much luck with this, we did a few attempts and followed instructions but it didn't really seem to grab anything.
In all fairness my boyfriend didn't have a lot to grab, so I think this might work if you have the need. I think it's great that the kit includes anti bacterial wipes as I am always paranoid when doing extractions the risk of it getting clogged again soon after as the pores are wide open. I normally use a toner to help close the pores and clean them, but I think the wipes would work great especially if you don't have any toner on hand.

Quick note about the Moustache shields
I found them to be VERY sticky and didn't want to put one directly from the sheet to my boyfriends face. I ran it over the back of my hand a few times to get rid of the excess stickiness and then applied. It still held up fine and it didn't hurt when he pulled it off.
I don't think this would be a necessary step, it might work fine without doing this I am just a bit paranoid :)

Onto the pictures! As you can see this little kit contains a lot! One small downside is that the applicator sticks are disposable but not really a big issue for me as long as they are sold separately.
