Revlon ColorStay Whipped creme foundation - First impressions

Hello Loves!

Today I'm going to be doing my first impressions of the new Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation

You can watch my youtube video review HERE

My skintype is combination oily (can get dry from acne treatments). Normal to dry on cheeks and slightly oily on forehead and chin. My nose has the most oil.

Initial application - I felt like it was really sitting on my skin and looked a little cakey, it also clung around my eyebrows.

1 hour in - It has settled nicely and doesn't look cakey. You can definitely tell I am wearing foundation but it looks really nice. If you don't like that look I suggest applying it with your hands for a lighter coverage, but as i had things I wanted to cover I went with the Sigma F80 for a more medium/full coverage.

2 hours in - Started to deteriorate around my nose. I haven't set this with a powder to test this out so I think from now on I will powder.

4 hours in - Definitely worn a lot around my nose. It doesn't go well with oily skin. Will use powder next time!

7 and a half hours in - No wear on cheeks and forehead. Slight wear on chin and same level of wear on nose.

I got the shade 110 Ivory and I feel like it matches really well. When I first apply it, it looked quite light but after blending and applying the rest of my makeup it matches lovely :)

UPDATE 10th July 2012: It seems to have broken me out so can't wear this anymore :( It seems like every foundation I try lately breaks me out, still yet to try Lioele triple the solution BB cream so hopefully that doesn't break me out too!

I hope this review was helpful :)

Until next time
